Tattoo Design - Hexagonal Galaxy

I was commissioned to do a black and white tattoo concept incorporating space, music, and hexagons. The idea was to mesh organic shapes with rigid geometric shapes to create a cohesive piece. The black ribbon-like curves cutting through the piece represent music bars and I used hexagons to contain the parts of the galaxy. I offered both concepts to the client to give to the tattoo artist for the final decision on the piece.
